This is the solution to make that easier and problem free. No measuring, no drawing, no mess! The best part of this project is that you can take this height chart with you when you move or want to change its location.
How To: Sand and stain a 1" x 10" x 8' top choice white wood (To achieve the look in the picture. If you're feeling adventurous, you may certainly try other, more exotic choices.) board from your preferred hardware store. to your preference.
When the stain has dried completely, apply your decal, making sure that you measure and place precisely. You can trim your decal to your needs. For example if you are hanging the decal, measure up from the floor and start the 1 or 2 foot mark from where it would align with the floor for accuracy. If you are placing this decal on the floor you can use the entire decal.
That's it! Another optional step is to add a lacquer to the top (paint not spray), but that makes it hard to write on your board, so we recommend you do not. You can also add any hanging clips to the outside at this time.
